EHR and PM integration

AGIMAN drafts the note and codes, then writes back to AdvancedMD

AGIMAN runs on an appliance inside your practice network. It captures each visit, drafts the chart note in the clinician's style, and suggests ICD and CPT codes. After the clinician reviews and signs, the approved note and codes sync to the patient's chart in AdvancedMD.

The connection

How AGIMAN connects to AdvancedMD.

What AdvancedMD is

AdvancedMD is a cloud EHR, practice management, and medical billing system based in South Jordan, Utah. It is built for independent and small group practices and for the third-party billing companies that work their claims. It exposes data two ways: a read-only FHIR R4 API for certified interoperability, and the proprietary Connect APIs (REST and XML-RPC) for real-time read and write access to charts, codes, and billing records.

The access path

AdvancedMD Connect API (RESTXML-RPC)FHIR R4SMART on FHIROAuth 2.0

AGIMAN reads patient and encounter context through the FHIR R4 API, which AdvancedMD provides as read-only under its Drummond g10 certification. To write the reviewed note and codes back, AGIMAN uses the AdvancedMD Connect APIs, the proprietary REST and XML-RPC set that supports real-time create and update against the chart. truesilver registers through the developer portal, builds in the AdvancedMD sandbox, and demonstrates the integration to the InterOps team before production credentials and an appname are issued. That first export path is scoped to your fields and tested against your own AdvancedMD instance before it is turned on.

AGIMAN connects through AdvancedMD's published Connect API and FHIR R4 access; the export path is scoped to your fields and tested against your own AdvancedMD instance before go-live.

The workflow

From the exam room to AdvancedMD, with you in control.

1

Capture

AGIMINION records the room

The AGIMINION device captures the visit audio in the exam room. Audio and the transcript stay on the appliance on your practice network, with no internet connection needed to transcribe.

2

Draft

Note and codes in the clinician's style

AGIMAN drafts the chart note in the clinician's own style and suggests ICD and CPT codes for the encounter. It can also prepare referral letters, patient handouts, and intake or visit forms.

3

Review and sign

The clinician edits and signs

Nothing leaves the appliance until a clinician reviews the draft, edits it, and signs off. AGIMAN keeps a review log of what changed before sign-off.

4

Sync

Write back to the AdvancedMD chart

On sign-off, the approved note and the ICD and CPT codes are mapped to the encounter and written to the patient's chart through the AdvancedMD Connect APIs, ready for the practice or billing company to work the claim.

After sign-off

What AGIMAN hands back to AdvancedMD.

Signed note

Chart note to the encounter

The reviewed and signed note is mapped to the matching encounter and written to the patient chart in AdvancedMD through the Connect API.

ICD / CPT

Codes ready for billing

After the clinician confirms them, the suggested ICD and CPT codes land on the encounter so the practice or billing company can finish the claim in AdvancedMD.

Documents

Letters, handouts, forms

Referral letters, patient handouts, and intake or visit forms are drafted for the clinician to confirm, then saved against the patient for the practice to send.

On your network

Local first, before any export.

  • Room audio and transcripts stay on the appliance on your network.
  • Transcription and note drafting run on site, with no internet connection required.
  • Nothing reaches AdvancedMD until the clinician reviews and signs.
  • Exports use the access path your practice approves, with a BAA available.

Questions

AdvancedMD, answered.

Where does the visit audio and the draft note live?

On the appliance on your practice network. Room audio, transcripts, and drafts stay local, and AGIMAN does not need an internet connection to transcribe or draft. Only the approved note and codes are sent to AdvancedMD, over the access path you approve. A BAA is available.

How does AGIMAN actually write back to AdvancedMD?

It reads patient and encounter context through the read-only FHIR R4 API, and writes the signed note and confirmed codes back through the AdvancedMD Connect APIs, which support real-time create and update. truesilver builds and tests in the AdvancedMD sandbox and demonstrates the integration to the InterOps team before production credentials are issued.

Does AGIMAN code or chart on its own?

No. AGIMAN drafts and suggests, and a clinician reviews, edits, and signs every note and confirms every ICD and CPT code before anything reaches the chart. Clinical judgment stays with the clinician, and AGIMAN only removes the administrative drafting and data entry.
