EHR integration

AGIMAN drafts the visit and syncs it to DrChrono after you sign

AGIMAN captures the room audio on an appliance inside your practice network, drafts the chart note in your style, and suggests the ICD and CPT codes for the encounter. After you review and sign, it maps the note and codes into the DrChrono fields your account approves.

The connection

How AGIMAN connects to DrChrono.

What DrChrono is

DrChrono is an iPad-first ambulatory EHR with built-in practice management and medical billing, first built for the iPad in 2009. It is run by independent and small group practices that chart, schedule, and submit claims from one account, often on a tablet at the point of care. EverCommerce acquired DrChrono in 2021, and it now ships under the EverHealth brand.

The access path

FHIR R4SMART on FHIROAuth 2.0DrChrono REST API

AGIMAN connects through the DrChrono developer program, the OAuth 2.0 REST API and the SMART on FHIR R4 server, using the access a provider grants from their own account. The appliance maps reviewed chart text and codes to the DrChrono fields that account exposes, and the first export path is scoped and tested against your own DrChrono instance before it is turned on. This is a standards-based connection that carries the access your practice approves. It is not a certified partnership or an endorsement, and distribution through the DrChrono app directory adds a listing and review step.

The DrChrono export path is scoped and tested against your own DrChrono instance before go-live, and it is not a certified partnership or an endorsement by DrChrono or EverHealth.

The workflow

From the exam room to DrChrono, with you in control.

1

Capture

Record the visit on the appliance

AGIMINION captures the room audio and the appliance transcribes it on the practice network. No internet connection is needed to transcribe or draft.

2

Draft

Note and codes in your style

AGIMAN drafts the chart note in the clinician's style and suggests the ICD and CPT codes for the encounter, plus any referral letter, intake form, or follow-up task the visit calls for.

3

Review and sign

You read it and sign

The clinician reviews every line, edits what is wrong, and signs. Nothing leaves the appliance until you approve it.

4

Sync

Map into DrChrono fields

AGIMAN maps the signed note and the approved ICD and CPT codes into the DrChrono fields your account exposes through the REST API and the SMART on FHIR R4 server, ready for billing in DrChrono practice management.

After sign-off

What AGIMAN hands back to DrChrono.

Signed note

The chart note

The note you reviewed and signed, mapped to the DrChrono encounter for the visit so it lands in the patient chart.

ICD and CPT

Codes for the claim

The approved ICD and CPT codes for the encounter, attached so your DrChrono billing or RCM workflow can submit the claim.

Documents

Letters and forms

Referral letters, patient handouts, and intake or visit forms drafted from the visit, saved for a human to confirm or send.

On your network

Local first, before any export.

  • Room audio and transcripts stay on the appliance on your network.
  • Transcription and note drafting run on site, with no internet connection required.
  • Nothing reaches DrChrono until the clinician reviews and signs.
  • Exports use the access path your practice approves, with a BAA available.

Questions

DrChrono, answered.

Where does the visit audio and the draft live?

On the appliance inside your practice network. Room audio, transcripts, and drafts stay local, and no internet connection is needed to transcribe or draft. Only the note, codes, and documents you approve are exported to DrChrono over the access path your account grants.

How does AGIMAN reach DrChrono?

Through the DrChrono REST API and the SMART on FHIR R4 server, authorized with OAuth 2.0 from a provider's own account. The export path is scoped to the DrChrono fields your account exposes and tested against your instance before go-live.

Does AGIMAN write to the chart on its own?

No. The clinician reviews and signs every note and every code before anything reaches DrChrono. AGIMAN drafts and maps, it does not replace clinical judgment.
